Upper Room Projects
The Upper Room provides a broad range of services for the homeless, vulnerable, and socially disadvantaged sections of our society in west London, including serving over 27,000 hot meals every year. Our charity has helped people in need for over 21 years.

Aims of organisation
The Upper Room is a registered charity dedicated to the relief poverty and suffering among social disadvantage sections of our society who are vulnerable, marginal and homeless in west London. All Upper Room services are free of charge and at the heart of its service is "feeding communities in need".
We are particularly interested in working with all service usersd to curb their addictions, to advse on their housing needs and to maintain healthy relationships among all the diverse communities of service users. Over the last few years a new but large group of users needing our services has been from Eastern Europe.
We receives very little government funding and we rely on grants, donations from individuals, churches, trusts, schools and communities who are generous with organising fundraising events, especially at Harvest and Christmas time, to make it possible for us to continue providing the services.

The Upper Room has three projects at the moment: UR4Meals, UR4Jobs & UR4Driving (click). These services are focused on supporting and enabling people to regain their confidence and health, improve their employability and life skills, as well as tackling loneliness and social isolation. Each project has a primary function and several secondary functions including being an incubator for new projects.
The Upper Room relies on donations to provide:
- Hot food 5 days a week;
- Clothes, shoes, socks and underwear;
- Toiletries;
- Blankets, bedding, and sleeping bags when available, for rough sleepers.
