(RO) Romania si Bulgaria au aderat la Uniunea Europeana pe 1 ianuarie 2007, iar cetatenii acestor state au obtinut anumite drepturi de circulatie si rezidenta in celelalte state membre UE.
In prezent, cetatenilor romani le sunt impuse anumite restrictii diferite de cele impuse cetatenilor din grupul A8 de tari Central si Est Europene. Daca doriti sa munciti in Marea Britanie, aveti responsabilitatea sa va asigurati ca ati obtinut (ca angajat) sau sunteti in curs de a obtine (ca self-employed) aceasta permisiune.
Romanii si bulgarii trebuie sa obtina autorizare de munca inainte sa fie angajati; exista anumite exceptii, vezi documentul Employing Romanian & Bulgarian Nationals. Autorizatia de munca se elibereaza sub forma unui certificat de munca (Accession worker card).

(ENG) Romania and Bulgaria joined the European Union on 1 January 2007 and, as a national of one of these countries, you enjoy certain rights of movement between, and residence in, other EU Member States.
There are certain restrictions currently in place for Romanian Nationals which differ from the restrictions placed on Nationals from the A8 countries of Central and Eastern Europe. If you wish to work in the United Kingdom, it is your responsibility to ensure that you have permission to do so.
Romanian and Bulgarian nationals wanting to work in the UK will need to obtain authorisation to work before starting any employment, unless they are exempt from doing so (see Employing Romanian and Bulgarian Nationals). This authorisation will normally take the form of an Accession worker card.
YOU MAY FACE SEVERE PENALTIES IF YOU WORK WITHOUT PERMISSION.
If you decide to start out as self-employed you need to register with HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC).
